DEFNET
Connects Romanian companies to European funding, strategic partnerships and innovation chains in the field of dual-use technologies.
DEFNET (Defence Network România) is the European platform coordinated by the Romanian Association for Smart City, dedicated to innovation, partnerships and funding for dual-use technologies. It has three membership levels - Silver, Gold and Platinum - contracted for 12-month periods; each package offers access to resources, partners and opportunities adapted to the size of the organisation. Depending on the package, members receive information and summaries on EDF, EDIP, SAFE, NATO DIANA, Horizon and POR calls, analysis of business opportunities and public tenders, support in forming eligible cross-border consortia and matchmaking with public and private partners (RO & EU). The DEFNET team brings together leaders with experience in defence, national security, public policy and technological innovation.

- Silver, for start-ups and micro-companies: the monthly Defence Insights newsletter, free access to DEFNET and ARSC platform events, access to thematic working groups and general information on active calls (EDF, EDIP, SAFE, Horizon, POR)
- Gold, for SMEs and companies with mature solutions: all Silver benefits, plus a monthly analysis of business opportunities and public tenders, a personalised EDF / EDIP / SAFE / NATO DIANA summary, support in forming eligible cross-border consortia and a dedicated account manager
- Platinum, for corporations, integrators and industry leaders: all Gold benefits, plus exclusive strategic briefings with direct access to the DEFNET College, in-house support for preparing application files (EDF, EDIP, SAFE) and representation in international delegations and missions
- The DEFNET College brings together experts in national security, national defence, military intelligence and cybersecurity

The conversation
The DEFNET team replies within a maximum of five working days with an invitation to a conversation - in person or on Zoom. The conversation establishes the right package for your organisation.

Contract and activation
The contract is signed afterwards, and payment is made when it is activated. The amount shown is the monthly equivalent; invoicing is done in full when the contract is activated.
