The Romanian Association for Smart City (ARSC) is Romania’s leading national platform for intelligent city development. Together with public administration, industry and communities, we build digital and sustainable solutions to improve life in Romanian communities.
We have been active for nearly 10 years as the National Contact Point of the Smart Communities Network supported by the European Commission, and we work with institutions such as EIT Urban Mobility, OASC and the Smart City Expo World Congress.

The Romanian Association for Smart City (ARSC) is Romania’s leading national platform for the development of smart cities and communities. It acts as the National Contact Point of the Smart Communities Network supported by the European Commission.
ARSC documents 1,498 Smart City and Smart Village projects on map.arsc.ro, of which 1,003 are in implementation, across 7 domains and in 41 counties plus Bucharest.
Companies can join through the ARSC Connect (€2,000/year + VAT), ARSC Influence (€7,000/year + VAT) or ARSC Strategic Partner (on request) packages. For mayors and public administrations, access to the National Council of Leaders for Smart Communities is free.
ARSC events include the Smart City Industry Awards (SCIA), the Mayors’ Congress, Green Energy Summit, ROPAT, the Smart City Caravan, Women in Smart Cities and the Winter AI Festival.
